Like when people are screaming at their cell phone and shaking a fist to the sky yelling \u201cf-you Mercury &amp; your retrograde<strong>*<\/strong>\u201d and you shake your head because everything is working fine where you stand? OR flip that, and everyone around you has a pep in their step and seem generous and kind and the sky is blue and you aren\u2019t grumpy but you also can\u2019t feel those vibes, or connect to all of that smiles and rainbows and happy camper stuff?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That last scene describes me lately. I thought I&#8217;d share some things that I find supportive in a patch like that:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>I remind myself there\u2019s nothing wrong with me, and this too shall pass.<\/li><li>I share with my closest circle to let them know where I\u2019m at and I lean into their support even if neither of us know what I need at the moment.<\/li><li>I spend time outside.<\/li><li>I take longer showers and visualize the funk washing down the drain.<\/li><li>I breathe in certified pure therapeutic grade essential oils selected for their emotional support properties (or just an intuitive nudge).&nbsp;<\/li><li>I adjust my expectations. This may mean I let other people down, reschedule things, or ask for extended deadlines.<\/li><li>I move my body.<\/li><li>I have a cleansing cry or toddler-sized fit.<\/li><li>Again, I remind myself that there\u2019s nothing here to fix.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It takes me a while to recognize when I\u2019ve reached such a space. In a conversation last week, I shared that I had been in \u201cincognito fix it mode\u201d due to believing I was in a stable space because I knew something was off kilter but I was \u201cdoing\u201d what I know to do. I spent a couple of weeks prior feeling really unproductive and chaotic, in the <em>spinning wheels and getting nowhere<\/em> space, before I could \u201csee\u201d where I was and settle into it. It is uncomfortable to recognize and surrender to that discomfort without needing to fix it. I know that it almost always shifts on its own without me needing to \u2018do\u2019 anything at all. In fact, I just need to pause and be.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I wrote this poem last week when I finally met myself right where I was.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>Reading My Internal Landscape<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">Overstimulation\/over-thinking\/over-doing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">My body is over it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">Over-sharing\/over-extending\/over-bidding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">My heart is over it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">Overdrafting\/over-drawing\/overcrowding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">I\u2019m over it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">My internal landscape illustrates the way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">Simple. Open. Still. Quiet. Connected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">Stop. Stop everything.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">If only for a moment. If only for a day. If only in a dream.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What do you do when you feel out of sorts or misaligned with the world around you?
